Deputy Village Clerk/Administrative Assistant

The Village of Caledonia, is seeking a qualified person for the full-time position of Deputy Village Clerk/Administrative Assistant.

Must be available to attend some nightly meetings to take minutes.  Duties include, but are not limited to, clerical and filing, assisting at the front counter via telephone and walk-ins, licenses and permits, meeting notices and packets, minute taking and election duties.   The position reports to the Village Clerk.  Starting wage is $16.70 – $19.96, per hour depending on qualifications.  Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years clerical/admin experience. The successful candidate will have office experience, preferably within a municipal government setting, strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Office.  Experience with WisVote and JMaul preferred.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
