REAL School's 2nd Annual College Signing Day

The REAL School hosted their 2nd Annual College Signing Day on Tuesday, April 25th. The entire school was in attendance to make the connection between the classroom and college/career-readiness. The band played as seniors approached the stage to sign their commitment to college and received a pennant of the college they are attending in the fall.  Jane Finkenbine from Gateway Technical College spoke about college readiness to provide students with even more insight into transitioning to college.  School Counselor, Erik Dial, wrote a DonorsChoose grant that provided each senior with a copy of Oh, The Places You’ll Go! Which was signed by all the staff.  At the end of the event the current juniors signed a banner of their commitment to attend a two- or four-year college.
